When RIGAMAJIG Meets Test-Prep

                  Spring Camp

...imagine the world we can build

Join us for Spring Break!

This year's Spring Camp places its focus on combining the two factors of test-taking preparation and fostering creativity to gain a fully comprehensive approach towards success.

Reasons to choose Berkeley's Spring Camp

What is Rigamajig?

Rigamajig is a new large-scale building kit designed for hands-on free play and playful STEAM learning. Rigamajig gives children the opportunity to learn through self-directed, hands-on experience.

This collection of wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope allows children to follow their curiosity through play while learning 21st century skills. There are no right or wrong answers; the act of playing and building is the goal, not the finished product.

What is the Global Cardboard Challenge?

The Global Cardboard Challenge is an opportunity for children to play and learn by using simple materials to build the things they imagine.

The Cardboard Challenge:

  • Lets children explore their interests and passions

  • Teaches valuale 21st century skills: Critical Thinking, Resourcefulness, Perseverance & Teamwork

  • Fosters and celebrates a child's creativity

The Global Cardboard Challenge is a fun, playful and inspiring way to foster creativity in children through a simple process called Creative Play. Through creative play, kids engage their imaginations and open up their minds to what’s possible – and then they turn their ideas into something real. In this process, children learn to develop and test their own ideas, take chances, solve problems, get input from others and become better creative thinkers.

How is the Common Core Test Prep conducted?

Students will be required to take full length diagnostic tests, which help students determine which academic concepts they understand and which ones they need to pay attention to.

  • 2 Full-Length online diagnostic tests, Math & English Language Art

  • Detailed test results will be provided at the end of each test

  • Learn by concept & 1 on 1 Instruction

.

What is Imagination Playground?
