All About Earthquakes

In Hands on Science class, it was all about Earthquakes. Students learned how to reinforce structures and strengthen weak buildings in case of an earthquake. Students were challenged to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Students made three-dimensional cubes to make it go higher and higher. In partners, students helped one another to make their model stable. Stable enough to be put onto the Orbital Shaker to test its strength.
